Empowering Independence for Individuals Living With A Visual Impairment
Join the esteemed 1976 Society and be part of our mission to empower individuals living with a visual impairment at the Georgia Lions Camp. Your support makes transformation possible!
How We Began
The Georgia Lions Camp was born from the vision of the Waycross Okefenokee Lions Club in 1972. Through dedication and collaboration, they secured land and established the Georgia Lions Camp as a non-profit organization on September 12, 1975. In 1976, the camp expanded its reach and became a multiple-district project.
